About the role
Switch2 Energy delivers heat network and metering services to housing associations, local authorities and other clients across the UK. As a Project Delivery Coordinator you will own the delivery of client projects from handover to completion, keeping clients, engineers and our operational teams aligned so every project lands on time, in full and to contract.
What you'll do
- Run your projects end to end: set up and maintain every task on our project delivery platform, track progress and flag risks and issues early.
- Act as the client's main point of contact throughout delivery, working closely with Client Account Managers, Project Engineers, Operations and Business Development.
- Own project queries, making sure each one is logged, managed and resolved to the client's satisfaction.
- Build project programmes and produce monthly status reports for senior management covering progress against plan, issues and risks.
- Control project documentation, turning incoming information into clear actions for the right internal teams.
- Chair project meetings at every stage: initiation, client reviews and internal completion reviews.
- Support clients at resident engagement events: answering questions, demonstrating new hardware and presenting planned upgrade works.
- Run contract awareness sessions with Account Managers so every team understands its obligations and performance measures.
- Audit projects for compliance and profitability, and propose improvements to how we work.
What you'll bring
- Experience coordinating or delivering projects, ideally in utilities, housing, construction or a similar operational environment.
- Strong organisation: you can run several live projects at once without losing the detail.
- Confident written and verbal communication with residents, clients and senior managers alike.
- Commercial and analytical awareness: you spot problems in the data before they become problems on site.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.
- A degree or equivalent work experience. A project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 or APM) is an advantage.
